American Paso Co-Op Disclaimer

American Paso Co-Op is an independent, member-driven opportunity-sharing platform.

American Paso provides only the technology that allows members to post potential group purchasing opportunities, communicate with one another, and identify opportunities for possible cost savings.

All Co-Op opportunities are independently created, organized, negotiated, and managed by individual participating members.

American Paso does not negotiate prices, communicate or negotiate with suppliers on behalf of participants, establish purchasing terms, collect or distribute funds, process payments, arrange deliveries, or participate in financial transactions.

American Paso is not a party to any agreement or transaction between members, organizers, or suppliers.

All prices, quantities, product descriptions, supplier representations, and purchasing terms are provided by individual members or third parties and have not been independently verified by American Paso.

Participation is voluntary and at each participant’s discretion and risk.

American Paso does not guarantee product quality, availability, pricing, cost savings, supplier performance, delivery, refunds, or the successful completion of any group purchase.

Members are solely responsible for evaluating opportunities, communicating with suppliers, independently agreeing to purchasing terms, and determining whether to participate.

Co-Op organizers act solely in their individual capacities and are not employees, agents, or authorized representatives of American Paso.

American Paso reserves the right to moderate, restrict, or remove content or platform access in accordance with its participation policies.

American Paso’s role is limited to providing the digital platform for member connections and opportunity sharing.

Acceptance

Before creating or expressing interest in a first Co-Op opportunity, a member confirms:

I understand that American Paso provides only the technology for this member-driven service. I acknowledge that all purchasing opportunities and negotiations are independently managed by participating individuals, and that American Paso does not negotiate prices, handle payments, or participate in transactions.

The confirmation is recorded with the member’s account, the disclaimer version above, and the date of acceptance. Nothing is published on a member’s behalf without their own action.

Organizers

Members who start an opportunity additionally confirm:

I understand that I am independently organizing this opportunity in my personal capacity. I am not acting on behalf of American Paso and have no authority to represent American Paso, negotiate on its behalf, collect funds in its name, or bind it to any purchasing agreement.

Organizers must disclose any financial interest in an opportunity, including whether they are the supplier, are related to or affiliated with the supplier, or may receive a referral payment or other benefit. No member may present themselves as an American Paso purchasing agent, negotiate on the organization’s behalf, or collect funds in its name.

Interest is not an order

Expressing interest does not constitute a purchase, reservation, financial commitment, or guarantee of product availability.

Quantities and interest totals shown on the platform are member-reported. American Paso does not verify payments, confirm that a purchase occurred, or act as a party to any agreement between members, organizers, or suppliers.

No financial role

American Paso does not process payments, operate shopping carts or checkout systems, hold escrow or deposits, manage supplier payments, issue purchase invoices, handle refunds, or settle transactions. Pricing, discounts, quantities, minimum commitments, payment methods, deadlines, deposits, refunds, delivery, pickup, product quality, and completion of any purchase are decided independently by the members and suppliers involved.

If a supplier requires a single purchaser to acquire an entire lot, that arrangement is made independently between the members involved. American Paso does not designate any member as financially responsible for others.

Privacy

Only a general area, a member display name, and the opportunity details a member posts are shown to other members. ZIP codes, coordinates, exact farm or barn locations, and personal contact details are never displayed. Organizer updates and messages between members are visible only to the organizer, to members who expressed interest, and to platform administrators.

Categories

Co-Op covers legitimate horse ownership and farm supply opportunities: Hay and forage, Horse feed, Bedding, Fencing and farm supplies, Tack and equipment, Other equestrian essentials. Categories may be extended by the American Paso office. Unlawful, fraudulent, or otherwise restricted transactions are prohibited and may be removed.

Moderation

American Paso may review reported listings, moderate content, remove fraudulent or misleading opportunities, and suspend Co-Op access in line with these terms. Administrators act as platform moderators only: they do not approve prices, negotiate deals, contact suppliers, or administer payments. Moderation is never an endorsement or verification of a supplier or an opportunity.
