Copyright & Intellectual Property Policy

Members may only upload content they own or have permission to use. By uploading content, members certify:

  • They own the rights to uploaded photographs.
  • They have permission to upload any documents they choose to submit.
  • They are not violating another person's intellectual property rights.

If a copyright owner believes content has been uploaded to AmericanPaso.org without authorization, they may submit a takedown request using the "Report Content" option available on horse profiles and other listings.

Our process for handling reports:

  1. Report Content — Submit details of the content and the concern.
  2. Review — An administrator reviews the report.
  3. Temporary Removal — Content may be temporarily hidden while under review.
  4. Resolution — The report is resolved, and the content is restored or permanently removed.

A record of all reported content and its resolution is maintained by our administrators.
