The American Paso Registry
American Paso is an independent registry created specifically to protect, document, and strengthen the future of the Paso horse in the United States. Registration is now open and completely free.
For too long, many Paso owners have felt that their horses, their priorities, and the ways they enjoy the breed have not been fully represented. We believe owners deserve another avenue — one that values natural gait, rideability, versatility, ethical horsemanship, and the long-term marketability of the American Paso.
This is more than a place to receive registration papers. It is a permanent, trustworthy record of horses, pedigrees, ownership, and the developing history of the American Paso.
Registration is completely free. Eligibility standards, verification procedures, correction policies, and an appeals process are published as part of the registration workflow. Not every horse listed in the American Paso Directory automatically qualifies for registry status — registration is a separate process with its own review and approval.

Register a HorseAmerican Paso is an independent registry and is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any other Paso horse registry, breed association, or governing organization. Registration with American Paso is separate and independent from registration with any other organization. Horses currently listed in the American Paso Directory are not automatically registered — directory listing and registry registration are separate processes.
